As part of the After-School Program at Ekta Center, Grade 12 students participated in an engaging and interactive learning session on the fundamentals of simple electric circuits. The session was led by Mr. Srinivas Bhai, a mentor from the Robotics Program, who introduced students to the core concepts of electricity through practical explanations and demonstrations.
During the session, students explored the basic components of an electric circuit, including batteries, wires, switches, and bulbs. They learned how electric current flows through a closed circuit, the importance of completing a circuit for electrical devices to function, and the role of each component in building a working electrical system. The hands-on approach encouraged students to ask questions, think critically, and relate scientific concepts to real-life applications.
The activity not only strengthened the students' understanding of physics but also sparked curiosity about robotics, electronics, and engineering. By connecting classroom concepts with practical learning experiences, the session helped students develop problem-solving skills and gain confidence in exploring STEM subjects.
At Dabhoi Community Foundation, we are committed to providing meaningful learning opportunities that inspire young minds and prepare them for future careers in science and technology. Sessions like these ensure that students receive quality, experiential education beyond the classroom, empowering them with knowledge and practical skills for the future.
