Empowering Kishori Girls: Insights from the July 2025 Meeting on Cleanliness and Menstrual Hygiene

On Saturday, July 5, 2025, a Kishori meeting was held at the Soneshwer Umeed Center from 12:00 to 3:00 PM. A total of 40 Kishori girls actively participated in the session. The event was facilitated by the Sakhi Group (Vadodara) and concentrated on the crucial topic of cleanliness and menstrual hygiene.

The session was designed to raise awareness about personal hygiene, particularly during menstruation, and to guide in maintaining cleanliness. It also included practical demonstrations to assist Kishori in understanding the correct practices.

Special thanks to Dr. Apurva and Dr. Smita from Sakhi Group, who conducted the session engagingly and interactively.

At the end of the program, pads were distributed to all the kishoris by the Sakhi Group. The program concluded successfully around 3:30 PM.
