DCF Organises Multi-Nutrition Programme to Support Maternal Health Through Sukhdi Distribution
Dabhoi Community Foundation (DCF) organised a Multi-Nutrition Programme across various villages and residential communities in the Dabhoi taluka, focusing on improving the nutritional well-being of pregnant women and lactating mothers through the distribution of traditional nutritious food, Sukhdi.

With the objective of promoting maternal health and ensuring access to adequate nutrition during pregnancy and breastfeeding, DCF distributed Sukhdi among 50 beneficiary women across approximately 15 villages in the region.

Proper nutrition during pregnancy and the breastfeeding period plays a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of both mothers and their children. Recognising this importance, the initiative aimed to encourage better nutritional practices while extending nutritional support to women in underserved communities.

Beyond food distribution, the programme also conveyed an important message about the need to prioritise maternal and child health. It aimed to strengthen community awareness about nutrition and contribute to ongoing efforts towards preventing malnutrition.

Through initiatives like this, Dabhoi Community Foundation continues its commitment to building healthier communities by supporting mothers, promoting nutritional awareness, and working towards a healthier future for the next generation.
Healthy Mothers, Healthy Children, Stronger Communities.
