The Dabhoi Community Foundation, with the support of Bijalben Jagad from Mumbai, distributed food kits to approximately 30 underprivileged families in the Dabhoi Karnet settlement for one month. This initiative specifically focused on families with children from economically weaker backgrounds.
Special Objective:
Priority was given to economically disadvantaged families, those who have a disabled family member or are dealing with severe illnesses. These families often lack stable means of livelihood, making this assistance crucial for their sustenance.
Contents of the Kit:
The kit included essential food items necessary for daily life:
2 kg wheat
2 kg rice
1 kg moong dal
1 kg chickpea dal
1 kg oil
1 kg sugar
Positive Response:
The children and their parents expressed happiness upon receiving the kits. This support proved to be a lifeline for laboring families, offering significant relief in their challenging lives.
