At Dabhoi Community Foundation, we believe that vocational skills create opportunities for confidence, creativity, and financial independence. As part of our Women Empowerment Initiative, the Mehndi Training Program at the Umeed Center successfully conducted its Practical Examination, where 25 enthusiastic students demonstrated the skills they had learned throughout the course.
The practical examination provided each participant with an opportunity to showcase her talent by creating a variety of beautiful mehndi designs. From elegant traditional patterns to intricate bridal motifs and modern artistic styles, every design reflected the dedication, patience, and creativity of the students. The examination also assessed their precision, design techniques, cleanliness, and overall presentation.
Throughout the training program, the participants received hands-on guidance from experienced instructors, enabling them to build both technical skills and self-confidence. The practical assessment marked an important milestone in their learning journey and celebrated the progress they had made.
At Dabhoi Community Foundation, we believe that vocational education is more than learning a skill—it is about creating pathways toward self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods. Programs like the Mehndi Training Course empower women with practical skills that can help them start their own small businesses, earn an independent income, and contribute to the well-being of their families and communities.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all 25 students for their outstanding effort, creativity, and commitment. Their achievements inspire us to continue creating opportunities that empower women and strengthen communities through education and skill development.
Together, we are nurturing talent, promoting self-reliance, and building brighter futures—one skill at a time.
