Nurturing Creativity Through Art & Craft at Umeed Center, Soneshwar

At Umeed Center, Soneshwar, a special Art and Craft Workshop was organized as part of the Kishori Meeting, creating a joyful and engaging space for adolescent girls to explore their creativity and imagination.

The workshop focused on encouraging girls to discover their artistic abilities and learn new skills through hands-on creative activities. It provided an opportunity for them to express their ideas freely while learning simple and practical techniques that they could continue exploring at home.

Exploring Creativity Through Art

The participants explored a variety of creative activities, including Best Out of Waste, painting, paper craft, and other handmade crafts. Through these activities, they learned how everyday materials can be transformed into useful and attractive creative items.

The concept of Best Out of Waste particularly encouraged the girls to look at discarded materials differently and use their imagination to give them a new purpose. Such activities not only make learning enjoyable but also promote innovative and environmentally conscious thinking.
