The Dabhoi Community Foundation is proud to share an exciting new initiative at one of its centres, Ummed. With the goal of building digital awareness and skills within our community, Ummed Centre has started daily computer classes for people of all age groups.
In today’s digital world, basic computer knowledge is no longer a luxury—it is a necessity. Understanding this need, the Ummed Centre has opened its doors to children, youth, adults, and senior citizens alike, ensuring that everyone gets an equal opportunity to learn and grow.
Learning Without Age Barriers
The computer classes are designed to be inclusive and beginner-friendly. Whether someone is touching a computer for the first time or wants to improve existing skills, the sessions are structured to meet different learning levels. Topics include basic computer operations, typing, internet usage, and practical digital skills useful in daily life.
Daily Classes for Consistent Growth
Classes are conducted every day, allowing learners to practice regularly and build confidence over time. This consistent approach helps participants become comfortable with technology and apply their learning effectively.
Building Confidence and Opportunities
Through this initiative, Ummed Centre aims to:
Improve digital literacy in the community
Help students and job seekers enhance their skills
Enable adults and seniors to use technology for communication and essential services
Create a supportive learning environment for all
A Step Towards a Digitally Empowered Community
The Dabhoi Community Foundation believes that education is the foundation of empowerment. By offering computer education at Ummed Centre, we are taking another meaningful step toward creating a digitally aware, confident, and self-reliant community.
We look forward to seeing more community members join this initiative and grow together through learning.
