At our foundation, we strongly emphasize providing effective physiotherapy services to those in need, particularly in our rural and underserved communities. From July 8, 2024, to September 3, 2024, we successfully treated 148 OPD patients, including 19 new cases. Our comprehensive approach helps manage various musculoskeletal issues, including osteoarthritis of the knee, back pain, shoulder pain, muscular pain, neck pain, foot drop, and stroke rehabilitation.
For osteoarthritis of the knee, our physiotherapy protocol includes a variety of exercises designed to strengthen muscles and improve mobility. This includes:
Ankle Toe Movement: Helps in improving ankle joint mobility and blood circulation.
Calf & Hamstring Stretching: Relieves stiffness and enhances flexibility in the lower leg muscles.
Static Quadriceps & Glutei Exercises: Builds strength in the quadriceps and gluteal muscles, essential for knee stability.
Straight Leg Raise & Abduction: Targets the hip and knee muscles to improve strength and support joint function.
High Sitting Knee Extension: Strengthens the knee extensors and improves the range of motion.
One Leg Standing: Improves balance and coordination.
Step Up, Step Down: A functional exercise that strengthens the muscles used in daily activities, particularly around the knee joint.
With personalized treatment plans, we aim to empower our patients to regain their strength, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life. We also provide consistent follow-ups to ensure progress, though some patients may struggle with regular attendance.
Our foundation's physiotherapy program is committed to ensuring accessible and high-quality care, enabling our patients to return to their daily lives with confidence.
