Enhancing Education: DCF's Special Training for Teachers

After Diwali, we organized a two-day special training session to strengthen the connection with children and improve the quality of education. In this training, the DCF management team engaged in in-depth discussions about effectiveness and success with the teachers. To help teachers connect with students more effectively, Mr. kaushikbhai Joshi provided guidance, which allowed teachers to deliver knowledge to children more accurately and effectively.

The training program started on Friday, November 8th, 2024, at 10:00 AM. During this session, Mr. Kaushik Joshi gave all the teachers a comprehensive understanding of the key educational points. The training focused on how to deliver education effectively to children and how to implement school programs more impactfully.

The program was conducted at the Center, with teachers and the DCF management team providing guidance. On the first day, the teachers made presentations on how to conduct classes effectively. The coordinator observed each teacher’s performance and provided appropriate feedback.

At 2:00 PM, the training resumed, and Mr. Kaushikbhai shared insights on how to engage with students thoughtfully and respectfully. The DCF management team also assisted in guiding teachers through new methodologies and tools.

Mr. Pravinbhai also motivated the teachers, discussing how to create interest and fun among students during school hours. Teachers reflected on their own experiences, engaged in discussions, and shared ideas.

The day concluded at 4:00 PM with the completion of the training session, which turned out to be an inspiring and enlightening journey for the teachers, equipping them with new knowledge and skills.

On 9th November 2024, Saturday, the second day of the training began at 9:30 AM. The session started with a review of the activities conducted on the first day, followed by a discussion on the behavior and practices that were taught. In particular, there was a discussion on how to improve the quality of education by upgrading materials and methods from the basic level to a higher standard.

Additionally, Mr. Pravinbhai demonstrated to the teachers at Dabhoi how to teach children using paper crafts, and explained how to engage with children more actively during lessons.

At 11:00 AM, a group discussion was held, where Mr. Kaushikbhai led a discussion on effective strategies. Following this, the Dabhoi Community Foundation shared information about the new activities they are undertaking and the collaborations with various other organizations. Representatives from different organizations shared their work and discussed fruitful plans, allowing all participants to learn from each other’s work.

Afterward, everyone gathered for lunch, which was enjoyed by all attendees, providing a moment of relaxation and a chance to absorb new information.
