Empowering Educators: Highlights from Our Science Teacher Training Program at Urmi Science Centre

We are delighted to share the success of our recent Science Teacher Training Program held at Urmi Science Centre, Kharel, from 27th October to 6th November.

This training program was specially designed to enhance the practical teaching skills of educators who work with students from 6th to 10th grade. Throughout the ten-day session, participating teachers actively engaged in hands-on experiments and practical demonstrations covering key science topics from the school curriculum.

By performing all science activities practically, the training helped teachers gain a deeper understanding of how to make scientific concepts more interactive and engaging for their students. This experiential approach not only strengthens classroom learning but also inspires curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving among young learners.

The Urmi Science Centre provided an ideal environment for this initiative — offering well-equipped laboratories, modern teaching aids, and an atmosphere of collaboration and discovery.
